What Are They?
All-on-four dental implants are designed to replace a whole mouthful of missing teeth with a combination of implants and bridges. Four implants are inserted into your jaw bone, while dentists may also screw in temporary dental bridges that form replacement teeth for your entire mouth if necessary. The apparatus remains in your mouth for four to six months before being replaced by permanent bridges when your jaw has healed properly. The all-on-four implants look and function like normal teeth, improve facial structure and speech, and give you confidence in situations where dentures would not.
